Painted steel, acrylic globes, LEDs, gobo projections. Each sculpture is 21 ft x 8 ft x 3 ft. Rotating gobo projections are approximately 6 ft diameter.
This
piece consists of 16 light sculptures, integrated into existing street light
poles, spanning 7 city blocks. They act as wayfinders, creating an identity for
the Arts District in the City of Everett. Inspired by festival lanterns and seedpod shapes, they are fun and
ebullient artworks that appeal to both drive-by and pedestrians, changing from
night to day. Commissioned by City of
Everett.
